I met my wife when I looked into her
eyes
I saw fear, speculation, and wonderment.
It was on a cold winter’s night
snow was gently falling
the world was waiting for our union-ship
she was waiting for love.

In the darkness of that night
I could see the city’s lights
hear the wind as it swept the snow
and the pounding of my heart.
Words of the heart come freely
I spoke into the night
of dreams and aspirations
of loves’ desire.

True love causes a fear deep within
yet the bond it creates can never be broken.
And that’s why
that which holds the deepest of hearts
the night sky, the stars, the dreamers of dreams
align themselves to create a new rise.
A place amongst the stars to show the world
how bright love is when darkness surrounds.

As love was created that wintery night
our first kiss transpired
the sweetest embrace incurred
the bond of love secured.
Somewhere in the sky above
beyond the falling snow
beyond our sight
in the darkness of night
a star was created in the dreamer’s
paradise.
