The government will have you fear…
but the real fear is not what they say.
It’s how you respond to that fear.
Panic and poor choices result in loss of moral integrity.
Consequences not only affect you, but your neighbor.
So you might say, “I did it for my country”.
When actually you’re hiding the shame you feel for a rash judgement.
You say, “My country comes first”, convincing yourself you have honor, when actually it’s false pride.
You hold up an empty plate to that same government that spewed those false-hoods that resulted in no food and beg for more, not realizing that they eat from a buffet table you provided in the first place. When you’re own wants and desires have been identified you can courageously say, “I shall not play a part in this anymore”, and turn your back to the false fueling egregious conglomerate called government. Go hug your neighbor and call your mom, all for the sake of your own sanity, and re-establish a connection to honor and integrity. In doing so, the same government that attempted to feed you fear will feel that exact same chill down their backs.
Regardless of political party choice let us not be divided. You are still my neighbor. We share the same beliefs. We eat from the same table and most of us pray to a higher power in some way, shape or form. Respect and honor comes from how we treat each other, not how we put our own beliefs over each other. If there’s strength in unity, then there has to be weakness in division.
Is your plate still empty?
