Roar my Captain, roar…
for your vessel enters into the night
grab that shooting star with one hand
show me it can be done.
Exhale your hurricane winds upon open waters…
ride the tides that crash the shores
never looking back to see the wake.

May you never grow silent in my dreams
for I be with you always…
smile for me that sly grin…
the one that says, “let us tempt the Gods with our presence at their table,
and snatch an apple from the golden platter”
for to stun a God, is to be as God.

Let us hold the memories as they release their vengeance
may we forever laugh as punishment is received.
Hysteria arises when all else fails
and holds the truth of our actions in plain sight.

Roar my Captain, roar…
for into the night I go.
