the days we have left
are the best days to come
our task of the day
brings our hearts closer.
and as we progress
towards the evening sky
the value of our work
reminds us
we did good.
when peace arrives
we embrace to feel each other
what love transpires
is God’s way of saying
You guys did good
death shall only separate us
momentarily.
in that time, we shall reflect
absence of the heart
and the depth of our love
that was created by two spirits.
until then
we take to task
the best part of us.
